Tonight, nestled in the Margate Old Town, The Lifeboat will once more provide the stage for the Dead Island Poetry Society.
The Lifeboat is another of the gems dotted arond Margate, a real alehouse libne with barrels and boxes of various ales, and ciders.
When I head out for the night, it’s rare that I can’t be found outside on the tables with a pint of deceptively strong cider at some point.
Sadly, I wont be in attendence, as I’m London bound, but local poetry monolith, Penny Lane will once more be playing the role of MC, and as ever is sure to bring something fantastic to the table.
