Description

Originally written for her dissertation, Fear of Drowning is a journey of discovery and a labour of love.

Being brought up as a mixed race child in a family with few ties to the black side of her family, Dee always loved to swim, yet has always been plagued with nightmares about drowning and feels that if that is how she dies then she will have been betrayed by her love.

In writing Fear of Drowning, Dee has come to terms with the reasons for her fear and finally made peace with her father enough for him to start parting with details of her family.
