Announcing the WinchesterFest Prompt Contest.
Every day in June, the Whisky & Beards social media will be sharing a new prompt. Our production team will then be looking for the best poem written in response for our shortlist. Each of our shortlist winners will be published in a digital journal. From those choices a winner will be chosen for a £50 cash prize.
3 poets a day will be entered into a long list, to be decided 24 hours after the prompt is posted. 1 poet from each longlist will be chosen for publication and shortlisting. 1 poet from the shortlist will be selected as overall winner.
By using the #WFPromptComp and tagging Whisky & Beards, you are agreeing to grant Whisky & Beards the non-exclusive rights to publish the work, as well as your pen name and likeness in associated marketing.
Whisky & Beards has the right to amend the terms and conditions at any time during or after the competition.
This competition is not eligible for members of the WinchesterFest production team.
