Today on the WB podcast, Me and Cal had a chance to sit down with Jade Parsonage of Storyplayers.
A storyteller and singer, Jade draws on folklore and folk music for her stories. Her repertoire of tales have been passed down though family, strangers on the street and from the pages of many a dusty book.
We’ve been lucky enough to catch her storytelling in the past, and it was great to chat with her about the power of stories and the spoken word, her relationship with folk tales and her own personal history as a performer.
Check out her monthly night of storytelling and spoken word at Ask in Canterbury, and follow Storyplayers on Facebook.
